OK, I have triple checked all my wiring, checked the menus. Set the radio
to both NEMA and NEMA96. Used a null modem from the gps to the radio.
And still nothing. Again it works with the computer but no the radio.
When i did use it with the computer i needed to hook up pin 1 (PPM) do i
need to fool that pin to think there is a computer connected? Any other
ideas?

I needed to build up a system just for radio... I put Win2K SP4 on it, added
Mappoint2002.
I installed the latest version of APRSpoint 1.2.9 and tried to run it. I
got an error message back:
Run Timer Error #13
Any idea what Run Time Error #13 is??
I also tried to install it on a laptop that has never had Mappoint or
APRSpoint installed on it before, and got the same error.
I installed from a version of APRSpoint.msi that I found on aprspoint.com,
so I do not know if my source file is corrupt.
suggestions anyone??

Hi Steve, I find that the line,"Check here to display all the stations on a
map", results in my station only showing up on the first two maps and on the
third map(which covers the Province of Nova Scotia) all the station names
show up in one long line with only my home staion represented by a symbol. I
note that at least one of the URLs you noted does the 'all the stations'
fine so am wondering if this might be the type of error you are looking for
reports on. Hope this is helpful, 73 de Rod, VE1BSK.

Yes, this is an issue with the new maps. I cannot fix the APRSworld maps
until Jim releases the geo interface we have talked about on here
previously, and until I have a solution to all three maps fixing find.cgi
to plot multiple stations is near the bottom of my list.
I am presently working on software to enter all 1007 APRSdos maps into APRS
MM, which will give the system some maps for most of the rest of the world.
Having no takers to do even the simple tasks of adding labels to the dosmap
program I posted on the web, I'm having to do all of this myself. It is a
huge undertaking, I have a busy life outside of APRS, I'm doing the best I
can, please be patient.

I've seen a number of Vaisala radiosondes (supposedly including an internal
GPS) on Ebay for cheap... Are these at all adaptable to APRS??
Thanks.
