I'm not sure if this (minor) problem is relevant to the quoted passage
above, but it seems to be relevant to other APRS-IS PCSAT and/or ISS
parsers as I've had the occasional comment from a keen APRSer who has
digipeated via ISS in the past and yet it hasn't shown up as such.
The way the "system" currently works at the moment is a little bit of a
problem here in New Zealand. I don't know of any Igates who happen to
listen to ISS or PCSAT frequencies directly, however there are some
satellite enthusiasts who listen to space stuff and gate it onwards
into the terrestrial APRS network, where it is heard by users and
nearby Igates.
The problem seems to be that having passed through intermediate steps
(such as the 'ground station' and a traditional APRS digi), the
"PCSAT-1*" becomes just a mere "PCSAT-1" in the string of apparent digis
that the packet took in getting to the Igate.
So, is there any chance of the "*" being left out of ISS/PCSAT parsers?
(Or am I barking up the wrong tree?)

Subject: Precision Mapping OCX Error
From: "Dave Sloan" <desloan@earthlink.net>

X-Message-Number: 4
I have been running Precision Mapping Street Version 5.0 for almost 2 years
without any problem. Started my WinAprs v2.61 and clicked on New Map Prec
Mapping and my new window failed to open. I tried to uninstall Precision
Mapping Streets and received the following message: Error 1905.module
C:\Windows\System\Cyber32.ocx failed to unregister HRESULT. Install says the
I had a successful installation. Clicking on New Map Prec Mapping gives an
hour glass for a couple of seconds and then nothing. If you look under
Windows it shows Precision Mapping Window. But, I can't see the window. I
then selected repair from the Precision Mapping Window I receive a message:
Error 1904.module C:\Windows\System\Cyber32.ocx failed to register HRESULT.
My computer is a PII 450 meg with Win98 SE.
Anyone have any ideas on the solution for this issue?
Tnx & 73,
Dave N0EOP
