Hello Readers.,

Due to the SNOW , coming down outside, and no plows to kickoff
my shovelling day <adds to my stats on the YLOM@WW; 2014 Rallye>,
I have taken to watching the SOCHI Games from Russia. SO far
I have been satisified with what I have been watching, and instead
of political or nationalistic leanings I have just enjoyed the
atheletes excelling in their sport.

This is thee first time, I have felt this way.

My mind, always goes back to 2011 and Yaroslav, Russia when thee
best team in the KHL and expected to win the championship were
all killed in a aircraft crash, as the plane was taking off.

International, we all who play, or have played, came together to
grive out loss. Never had this happened before, but the results
are still being played out, and even to 2014, as in Sochi, they
pop up, as with the Russian skier who broke a ski...a Canadian
coach ran out to assist him with a new ski. That is what
these games are all about.

For Canadians, as I see it..my opinion. The main focus for these
winter games is "Hockey". Men's hockey mostly, so via the
news, that seems to be an opinion of most, I have seen and heard
being interviewed.

A new team representing Yaroslav Russia, came back for the 2012
season and is well received and supported. "Lokomotiv yaroslav"
is back and doing well, and down deep as hosts of these games
I would like to see the National Russian Hockey team win GOLD.
Win it for "Lokmotiv" and the country. This morning Russia
best Norway. And is on the road. Too bad the women's trip
was beaten, but then... they tired. One can not ask another
more then what they did.

What again was missing ..thank goodness... was the distrust of
judging, etc... all gone, and in it's place atheletes trying
their best.

Thank you "Sochi Russia" for the winter games of 2014...
