Hello to all Sporting types, and those following the NHL, and
this years lack of hockey due to a lockout.
Before my friend in the USA who commented last time, gets
in here, just a few comments on the season that nearly got
cancelled, and well just a comment.
I am north of Toronto <50miles> and thus have to hear all
about the Toronto Maple Leafs, and a few voices from the
rest of Ontario. Toronto will survive, they are the most
valuable property. One guy on TV announced he wasn't going
to attend games, but then you know they'll be back, as
it is in the blood, and polls don't count.
I hope the owners and Players got what they both wanted, as
their agreement is for 10 years this time, and then there
is this 48 game season before the playoff ending near the
end of June 2013.
SO far, in the games I have watched, it is all out playoff
type hockey, with each team wanting to put team winning games
and point in the standings. Also trying to score high goals
every game of this shortened season incase of a tie, where
who has the most goals wins any tie.
It has been exciting stuff, in the two games I have been
looking at ... so intermission over back to NHL Hockey.
