Greetings !

I've had 2 of these receivers and RF performance has always been superb.

Now receiver number 1 (early version) I had for 1 year before the
flexistrip broke that connects the two halves of the receiver together.

This resulted in an unusable after 1 year. The cost of the flexi strip
was expensive (about œ20). I was not impressed. It seems that the
method used to construct the receiver always means the flexistrip gets
pinched and damaged. After a year of flexing it breaks.

Sony had a lot of complaints about this, and apparently made alterations
to the design.

I bought a later model which I have had for 3 years with (so far) no
problems, so it may well be that Sony cured the problem.

What I would like to know is has ANYONE ELSE purchased this receiver
recently and have there been any problems ?

I would like to know just in case this seconds receiver is ok because I've
been lucky or that the problem was genuinly cured.
