Hi there..
We've added more updates to our Club's website this week, which can be
found at http://www.southgatearc.org
Included in this update are a series of circuits from John G8MNY,
which includes;
* DUMMY LOAD *
Why pay a fortune for a commercially-made Dummy Load when you can build
your own. This is an extremely easy-to-build circuit - and is ideal as
as a first project. So, get your iron out and get busy!
* SWITCH-OUT-OF-CIRCUIT SWR METER *
A simple circuit, using just a handfull of components. It is designed
to be able to be switched out circuit when not in use.
* ELECTRIC COW FENCE *
A safe but effective electric fence system designed to keep the cows out
of your portable field day site. The system features three different modes.
* LET THERE BE LIGHT *
Here's another project for field day use. Two simple circuits that will
enable you to run a fluorescent tube from a 12-volt battery.
* DOG FOOD CANS *
VK2DKW's 2-metre band cavity filter made from dog food cans.
