Think better is coil in solid 'ferrite home' (i'm don't remember know it
exactly named in technical English)...

But you can try cheapest and ready coil , that can be found in any type small
handheld AM boardcast RX with IF 455kc.

Its ready, ajustable tank with small capicator inside to resonans on 455kc...
But you can cut this capicator if you need pure coil.
