              Comments on the 18. OQRP-Contest (02/03-Jul-05)
              ------------------------------------------------

"The Operators' Voice":

Many thanks for organizing this snug "contest" where even untrained OM
with small stns could take part in with pleasure (and without beeing obliged
to send a "Selbsterklärung" to DL telecommunication authorities) (DK2ZA)

Very high activity, in periods heavy QSB, but in between very fine
conditions. So an excellent OQRP-contest (OZ9KC)

Once again an enjoyable contest (OZ9QM)

Sorry ! Could only take part on Saturday using the key only for a short time.
Anyway fun as every time (DL1RPL)

...very pleasant to hear such a lot of QRP (F8DLJ&F5ZV)

Used my new hb transceiver on 20. A jolly good contest (DL2BXC)

Son Christoph was able to copy the QSOs more or less without mistakes.
Fun for him .... (DK5RY)

....exercised constructing wire ants. That's why the few qsos only (DL0NZ)

Operated from the garden site and could use all bells and whistles of my
IC 703. Best results bagged so far (DL5KWG)

This night was a pleasure:... found a corner in the upper part of the band
and they came in mysterious manners. Operating was really cosy, no hectic as
down the band. There even was time for a chat... (DJ7RS)

At the end of the contest there was nothing than nice music on the band-
-nothing else (DK2SH)

Thanks for organising this jolly good event. Excellent, especially on 80 on
Saturday. On Sunday rather bad cndx on 20... (DL1AVH)

The contest was great fun again... one is pleased about each km bridged with
qrp (DL1UNK)

Well, contesting still works even after a break of a whole year... (DL1JGA)

Good cndx and no qrm combined with a lot of boring spaces (DK3UZ)

Just returned from holidays. Only a short time available for some pleasant
QSOs (PA0RBO)

Glad about 11 VLP-QSO. With pleasure I was a HA-multiplier station (HA8LNT)

Had operated at the very same time in the UHF event. Sorry only 6 qsos.
But it's a matter of honour to take part... (HB9JBO)

Took part from my holiday QTH.. (DL1TC)

Troubled some of time by heavy QSB: heard stations, then lost them completely
(G0KRT)

WX had been too bright to qsoing nonetheless qrp is always fun
And I am always pleased to touch old friends (DL2ABH)

The push-pull DC-Mixer as per Poljakov was handling big signals extremely
well: no KM, no AM interference....so could hear 4Z, JA, VK6..
Regards from holiday in Frankonia (DL6KWN/p)

The contest is OK. I'll be there the next time again, investing a bit more
time for it (DJ5UZ)

Many thanks for this nice contest! (OH7QR)

The cndx finally were good again for a summer contest. Could work fairly well
even with VLP (DL1HTX)

My QTH is on 1300m ASL on the Mediterranean Alps...quiet with wide horizon
around... (I1BAY)

I participate mainly to replace a good friend- Rene Annrijs, ON4KAR, the ON-
representative of the G-QRP-C since years- SK on 6th of June.. (ON5AG)

80 m seemed to be a total crash, not much traffic (DL9CE)

Rough slow moving logging, QRJ es ZAN (DJ2GL)

Saturday fairly fine, Sunday rather clamped (HB9RE)

Advertising in advance seems to be effective (DG3BW)

First I did not want to send in my poor log... your appeal this afternoon for
a log entry convinced me (DF8TY)

Here is another log connected with regards and thanks ...(DJ6FO)

It was difficult to divide time for 2 contests: OQRP and VHF/UHF. Therefore a
small score this time. Nevertheless it is always a pleasure to participate in
your contest (PA0FEI)

My hobby = CW and QRP (OM7DX)

... I took part with the software TRX SDR 1000 by FlexRadio-. I simply had to
test the possibilities of this rig. RX with its filters is great! Due to
holiday preparations I could only operate for a short time (DJ9CS)

Thank You for the this beautifull "Original" qrp contest! (LX/ON6WJ)

I attach my OQRPC log. I took part only for a couple of hrs. At the same time
I was engaged in the VHF field day (OK1DMP)

Many thanks to organizers for a very nice contest. I participated for
the first time. My HB transmitter was only one week old! (OH1WX)

Very nice Contest, worked many old friends during it.
Good conditions especially sunday morning (I2AZ )

You'll find my log attached. Sry for not taking part in the whole event.
Anyway: great fun (DF5LW)

QTH light house Pelzerhaken, LH FED188, GLHA 41. Powered by a portable
starter battery (DF2HL/p)

Fun Contest! (LA3ZA)

Of course the contest again offered a lot of fun and it was interesting to
listen to other stations with different volumes at different times of the day
(DF2SJ)

Haven't build something new for a long time, that's why participation with
"old" homebrew qrp (DL7UWE)

Hello! It's my log, sorry if some errors - I'm taking part in contests
for the first time (UA9LAK)

Sorry, due to a family party only a short time of logging on Saturday
afternoon. Thanks! (DL2DZV)

Again big fun, even if on 20 only relaxed job (DL6CGC)

I offered a couple of points fromm my side to be used as bonus for my qso
partners (DL1HR)

Nice Contest agn...met mni friends...bad condx...cuagn next year (PA0ATG)

WX was fine for outdoor activities and strongly influenced the motivation of
the op, hi. I will be there the next time for sure (DJ6UB)

Many thanks for this amusing test. Why not expend to 10 and 15m? (I0SKK)

I still operated my bread board design, first problems, no output... (DL8MTG)

My proposal - the stations with MP and QRO categories MUST NOT call
CQ. They only have to call other stations. There are many problems when
QRO stations are calling CQ on the very small QRP bands (RW3AA)

Glad to have QRP activities to participate in (W7DRA)

Holiday QTH from the Isle of Foehr. The local hams pointed me to a nice field
day site... I am looking forward with joy to the next QRP contest (DL2XL)

Here you'll find my log, short time of participation (OE6GC)

Have used LM logger fort he first time. Hope the files are OK.
Thanks for being allowed to put in my log and that you can use it (DL1MEB )

Had fun ! Loudest stns: LX/ON-LY-I-HB. Logging with SD is a jolly good job,
quick, large screen. Some qrn on the bands (DL2BQD)

After the contest I found out that my TX output power was not what I thought
it would be (and what it used to be) (OH6DC)

Attached a log, even if it is a small one. Should I have forgotten anything,
pse drop me a line (DL2KDW)

In spite of summer slack period and lousy cndx - always a nice event (DL2HRF)

It really was a pleasure to take part in this OQRPC, no comparable stress
like in other contests. There had even be time for a short hello to friends.
It was my first contest here but won't be my last.... (DF2GN)

                            - - - - - - -

Many thanks for translation to Dieter, DL2BQD!
