If I wanted to QRP ... 10meters and consider this...we all mostly
listen and look for opennings...then you would see that Miquel has
posted his idea...which BTW others also do...but never beacon on
10 or 11 to help out... And then Miguel has his hands on a CB radio
so why not put it to a use by helping rather then the blabber blabber
10 bingo-bobs...but to beacon on a band with 5watts QRP to let all
know that mmmm hey if I can hear this beacon..then 10meters also
must be open and I can try to see if anyone in that area is on the
air just crusing with the dial????

Sunspots in the 1970s...led to the decline of GRS or CB in CANADA.
All the better people and hams there moved off elsewhere... and
while 10meters was great....well local CB and REACT were hard pressed
and went off the air....thus cell phones.

Miguel ... Hey you found a great use for CB Radio...to help
Ham radio operators determine if 10meters is open. Great
idea.
Maybe too...local CB will ask you what you are doing? then you
can help them come back and use the band for the low cost short
range coverage it was intended for....
