That was very funny Peter but not completely accurate.
South Africa is no longer the greatest sporting nation on earth. Tell that
to Ricky Ponting and Brett Lee! And watch where the gold goes in the
Olympics!
South Africa left the British Commonwealth many years ago during the
apartheid struggle.
Australia also plays baseball. I played first base!! However I think it
shows some evidence of softness when the outfielders wear a glove to cacth
the ball while the cricketers catch a hard ball barehanded.
What will Wassa make of all this?
