I am battling to get LINFBB and a PTCIIPro TNC to work .. I am able to get
Pactor to work on WINFBB and actually have a PTCIIPro running on my WinFBB BBS
..
My PORT.SYS file has the "H" for PTC working ... LinFBB apparently uses the "H"
for WA8DED Hostmode ...

My existing AX25.CONFIG file doesn't have any mention of PTCII in it because I
don't know what drivers I should use .. The PTCII is apparently using WA8DED
Hostmode .. How does one configure this in Linux AX25 ???

I also have two packet TNC daughter boards installed in the PTCIIPro making the
unit a three-port device .. How does one configure these two packet TNC's in
Linux/LinFBB ??? If the PTCII was running in KISS mode, I could use the MKISS
and KISSATTACH commands to set up the three ax25 ports required ..

My Linux ver is SuSe 9.0 ...

What I 'think' I need are the files : AXPORTS, AX25.CONFIG, PORT.SYS, INITTNC,
and so on, so that I can check my configuration ..

At the moment if I try and connect using the port (port-1) that the PTCII is
connected to, I get ' FREQ-BUSY fm PACTOR ' after a short 10-15 second
duration .. If I switch the PTCII off, I get the same message so it appears as
if LINFBB cannot see the PTCII ... INITTNC is therefore not initilizing the TNC
either !! ..

I have checked the bootup log and the fbbstartup log and they don't show any
errors... I don't get and ERROR message from LinFBB either ..

Are you able to help please ???
