Notes of interest:
3C0- ANNOBON ISLAND. 3C0V is now active until October 10th on all HF
bands 160-6 meters on CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK/SSTV. QSL via DJ9ZB.

BV9P-PRATAS ISLAND. Members of the Chinese Taipei Amateur Radio
League will be QRV as BQ9P from October 7 to 16. Activity will be
on 160 to 6 meters, including the newer bands, using CW, SSB, RTTY
SSTV and PSK31. They will be active generally near the DX windows.
QSL via KU9C. [TNX ARLD]
CU2- AZORES.Members from the Lufthansa Amateur Radio Club (DL0DLH) will
be operating from the Azores, October 9-12th, under the callsign
CU2L. Activity will be on HF bands (160 meters included) on SSB,
CW and PSK. Operators are: DL1FDS, DK7TF, DG5FCN, DL4FP and DK7PE.

OH0- ALAND ISLANDS. Hadi, DJ2PJ will be QRV as OH0JWH near the village
of Oeverby on Eckeroe Island, IOTA EU-002, from October 5 to 13.
His main focus will be the digital modes, especially on PSK31 with
RTTY and SSTV. QSL to home call. [TNX ARLD]
HS8- THAILAND. Members of the Chumporn Amateuur Radio Society (HS8AC)
will demonstrate Amateur Radio operation during the 160th
anniversary of the "Langsuan" traditional long boat race. They
will use the callsign HS8AC/P on October 11-12th (They will also
be active before and after that time). QSL Manager is E21EIC.
Operators are: HS1NGR, HS8LR, HS8FZ, HS8JJ, HS8BA, E20HHK, HS0EHF,
HS0XNO and E21EIC. Activity will be on 40/20/15/10 meters (80/160m
is possible). Mode will be: CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK-31 and SSTV.

SA-086. The Atacama Desert DX group (Operators XQ1IDM, XQ4ZW, CE1URH,
CE1RQB, CE1VBH, CE1FLS, CA2WUI, CD0906 and CE6TBN) will be on the
air as 3G2D from Damas Island (DICE ICE-201), October 17th, 18th
and 19th. Activity be on 160-6 meters on CW, SSB and RTTY/PSK.
They will have 3 stations running 24 hours daily like their 3G1P
DXpedition. There will be plently of CW. QSL Manager is XQ1IDM.

ZK1_sc- Henrik, OZ6TL will be active as ZK1TLA from Rarotonga (OC-013),
South Cook Islands between 11 October and 6 November. He plans to
operate CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31 in his spare time. [TNX 425DXN]

November, 1938) of the Mustafa Kemal ATATURK who founded the
