9V - After a long wait, Sasi, 9V1SM is QRV from Singapore on all bands\par
     from 40 through 6 metres, mainly SSB. If all goes well, he plans\par
     to commence his PSK 31 operations in a month's time.\par

CT3- MADEIRA ISLAND. By the time you read this, Ben, DJ8FW, is expected\par
     to be active as CT3AS until October 11th. Activity will be on CW,\par
     RTTY, PSK31 and some SSB. QSL via DJ8FW, bureau OK, but it takes\par

CT9- MADEIRA ISLAND. Rudi, DK7PE, informs OPDX that he and seven other\par
     members of the Lufthansa Amateur Radio Club will be operating as\par
     CT9DLH between November 7-11th. Activity will be on all bands 160\par
     -10 meters using SSB, CW and PSK. QSL via DL4FP. [TNX OPDX]\par

KH8 -AMERICAN SAMOA, KH8. A multi-national team of DXers will try to be\par
     QRV as K8T and K8O from Tutuila, IOTA OC-045, and also from Ofu\par
     Island, IOTA OC-077, at the same time.  Activity will be on all\par
     bands using CW, SSB, RTTY, SSTV and PSK31.  QSL via operators'\par

S07- WESTERN SAHARA (Update). The S07L team expects to arrive at the\par
     Algerian airport of Tindouf during the evening of October 8th,\par
     so they will be on the air from Bir Lehlu between the morning of\par
     October 9th through the sunrise of October 13th. The operation\par
     will be on 40-10 meters on SSB, RTTY and PSK31. Some activity on\par
     80, 6 meters and CW is possible. Operators now comfirmed are:\par
     EA1BT/Fernando, EA3BTD/Xevi, EA4BPJ/Jose, EA5XX/Julio, N8SHZ/Bela\par
     and XE1L/Luis. QSL via EA4URE. The log will be available after\par

S0 - Luis/XE1L, Bela/N8SHZ, Fernando/EA1BT, Xevi/EA3BTD, Jose/EA4BPJ\par
     and Julio/EA5XX will be active as S07L from Bir Lehlu, Western\par
     Sahara from 9 October until local sunrise of the 13th. They expect\par
     to operate 24 hours a day on 6-40 metres (possibly 80 metres as\par
     well) SSB, RTTY and PSK31 with some CW. They will use dipoles for\par
     the HF bands and a 3-element yagi for 6 metres. The pilot for the\par
     operation will be Antonio Gonzalez, EA5RM (ea5rm@ure.es). QSL via\par
     EA4URE. Logs will be  available after the operation at:\par

TI - A large group of operators from Canada and the US (namely AC8G,\par
     K6GXO, KE6WW, KA7KUZ, K8QOE, N1IZP, N6JRL, N0AT, VE3RZ, W8ILC,\par
     W8KKF and WA8LOW) will be active from near San Jose, Costa Rica\par
     for a week beginning 23 October. The principal activity will be\par
     as a multi-multi entry in the CQ WW SSB contest using TI5N (QSL\par
     via W3HNK) from the mega station QTH of Keko, TI5KD. Before and\par
     after the contest, the group expects to have activity on all\par
     bands from 160 to 6 metres using a variety of modes to include\par
     PSK31. Calls used will be TI5/homecall with the QSL route being\par

VE - A large group of operators (namely VE3BY, VE3DXE, VE3CBA, VE3RS,\par
     VA3RMF, VE3TV, VA3KO, VE3TPZ, VA3RD, VA3ZV, VE3SRE, VE3XAP,\par
     VE3HAE, VE3KJS, VA3TSG, G3SXE, K8DD, AC8W, N8RA and NB1B) will\par
     operate from Zone 2 on 21-31 October. Before  the contest they\par
     will be signing CJ2KCE, CJ2BY and CJ2SRE, while the special VC2C\par
     call (commemorating the 100th anniversary of the completion of the\par
     Trans-Pacific Cable,  http://www.pacific-cable.org) will be used\par
     during and after the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. Before and after the\par
     contest they will operate on 2 and 6 metres, Satellite, RTTY,\par
     PSK31, SSTV, CW and WARC bands. QSL CJ2BY via VE3BY, CJ2SRE via\par
     VE3SRE, CJ2KCE via VA2KCE. QSL VC2C via NB1B or VE3TPZ, either\par
     direct or through the bureau (stations from the US and Canada\par
