Subject: [psk31] Signal Reports

I am very new at the PSK communication medium and I am curious about signal
reporting when using PSK31 and DigiPan. How does one go about giving a
signal report when there may be several signals showing on the display, some
obviously stronger than others?

Thanks

This is one reason why I like to use WinPSK which contains a calibrated
spectrum display (as well as a waterfall display). I often reply that the
contact is "x db over the noise" rather than trying to interpret some value
from the S meter. I suppose I could convert the "x db" to the equivalent
number of S units...

Hello,

Is anyone in the Dallas, TX, USA, area interested
in working 2M PSK31 on or near 144.200?
If there is a better frequency, tell me about it.

Regards,
Marcus KR5N
