I've had VERY good luck forwarding the spam to the following address:
uce@ftc.gov
I forward the spam to the above address, with a comment that this spam was
not solicited, not wanted and 'will you please get it stopped'. I have
NEVER gotten a second spam from ANYONE after that action. 'uce' might be a
closet in D.C., but it works great. Whoever they are they do good, so to

Subject: [psk31] Attenuation
Hello all. I need some advice.
I have been following the PTT debate and have already got a single
transistor interface made and ready to work. I have just got an audio feed
from soundcard out into mic. in on the rig. (don't worry I have not used it)
I have heard that some attenuation is needed but need to know how
much and what resistors etc. I need to find and how to put them in the audio
line.

I've been very fortunate in that I get no more than perhaps a piece or two
of SPAM every three or four weeks - guess I'd better knock on wood - and I
do not recall ever getting a second one from the same source, at least that
I've noticed. I do not respond to or acknowledge any of them. Figure that
by doing so, I'm confirming to them the fact that I "exist". I read
somewhere that they may use such acknowlement. Clues them into to the
validity of the e-mail address and they may try to use it again or even sell
it on a list.
