Hi All...thanks for reading this....
Yes im about to tread on some toes....BUT why do authors of programs have
to write them for Windows when a large number of operators use older
computers for Packet and other digital modes.....
At this QTH i use a 486 dx2 66 comp with a soundcard modem and TSTHOST
under DR-DOS 7.03 for packet.....it works very very well...my thoughts are
why load up the system with a not so stable program such as Windows and
then load the data program....if windows plays up so does the data
program...
i have looked at all the psk31 programs available and am yet to find one
that will work under DOS.....psksb31 will work under win3.1 and is fairly
stable but the others may not be.....

Please can someone write a psk31 program for all those of us who only have
older equipment.....Yes to work under DOS....

If such a program was available im sure there would be a whole lot more
operators on the air using the mode and that would help the use it or lose
it situation that could exist....

Well as i said ive trodden on some toes But thats my thoughts.....
If you wnt too you can reply to me at my packet address or by email
