Subject: [psk31] RIT
Just a reminder to turn your RIT off before using
psk31. The other day I heard a station of 40m CQ'ing.
He was s-10. I kept trying to answer him but to no
avail. I know my rig was working. I had just finished
a qso 10 min. before and had another about 1/2 hour
afterwards. My quess is the RIT was tuned way off the
xmit freq. In the past three weeks I have chased two
folks up the band till they got thier RIT turned off.
Can anyone give a discription of the symptoms of PSK31
with the compressor on ? I have heard some really
strange psk31 signals the past week that I cant print. Thanks.
