Subject: [psk31] Kenwood TS450SAT and CW filters on USB
I would like to install an optional narrow filter in my TS450SAT, a
250Hz or 500Hz at 455 KHz or 8.83 MHz IF, normally for CW, and then use
it on USB with PSK31. Does anybody know if this works, or maybe the
narrow CW filters cannot be selected when in SSB modes?
Is there a real advantage using these narrow filters, compared to the
2.4k at 455KHz IF and the 1.8k at 8.83?

Greetings,
I use the 500hz filter on my TS850 for PSK (I even use the 250 on PSK) and
RTTY using MixW32. You have to change the tone frequency and lower
band-edge, but it worked FB, knocking down adjacent QRM.
