George,
I don't have that problem......In my interface box between the computer and
the radio, I added a switch to opent the PTT line so that my TX keys only

Hi. I recommend using the sterio-in, unless you can't get enough
signal. Then you can use mic-in. Either one will work. I use the mic
in here, but I am using 20-1 isolation transformers, and I get some
signal loss. Good Luck.

Hi Folks. I finally got my laptop last week. (I was the on a while
back that asked about laptops for PSK31 and logger use) I got a Compaq
Armada 4120. It has a pentium 120 Mhz processor, 32 meg of ram, and a
1.0 gig hard drive. It also has 16 bit sound, and works great for
PSK31, and Logger.

Likewise, except I use a 3 position switch, OFF, ON, and AUTO. ON
shorts the PTT to ground for manual operation, AUTO connects to the
computer.
