Hi Martin,
Do not be surprised if you observed unusual activity Sunday morning around
psk31 frequencies. You'd better prepare with RTTY program to watch CQWW
contest or, move in a WARC band with psk31 demo. Anyway, congrats on the
name of event, what's its logo then?

Hi Francis. Time will be between 1600UTC and 1900UTC, and frequency
will be on (or close) 28.120, maybe higher, or lower as conditions
permit. I actually live in Iowa.

Hi Cal. The frequency will be 28.120, maybe a little higher or lower if
that one is occupied.
No Backup band, unless 6m is open, as I an a Tech Plus licensee. I plan
to have a second computer there, and do an "audio" psk contact if 10m is
dead.

Logger 6.09 TIPS 2.
1. As you already know, There is a curve to your audio. Plot this out (Use
a dummy load) as Power out vs Freq, converting power to dB (Db=10 log
P2/P1).
Increase your Treble and Bass adjustments just a tad and replot the results,
Always keeping your audio below the ALC threshold. Record the results.
Where are the Audio controls? Double click on the speaker icon on the lower
right of the screen, then under the Volume control click on Advanced.
2. I have observed many stations "chasing" eachother (amusing to watch the
spectrum display) over the course of a QSO. I think that it happening when
Keying the transmitter with the [pause/break] key. This SOMETIMES does not
cause the "Net" = "transmit." This errant behavior can be eliminated if
both stations have both the "Net" and "Afc" buttons checked and: To ensure
that your "Net" frequency and "Afc" frequency are the same, Use the
"transmit"."transmit" as the first line of macros (that's right, twice with
a dot between). That is the same as double clicking on the "Net" button
(twice), making the Net and Transmit frequency the same. The dot in between
is an indicator to the operator that the macro was keyed twice.
I have one simple macro that has a Return followed by the
"transmit"."transmit" sequence. This I use in place of the [pause/break]
key to turn on my transmitter. Pressing the {pause/break] key now causes
the transmitter off (go to receive).
