Hello Psk31-gang,
I tried the Mix32-demo and it worked very very well, and had no problems
with the screen (my screen format is 800 by 600 with small fonts).
We direct tested the program over an 150 km path on 144,330 mhz, and the
psk31 tracked the drift an bit faster then I was used to in other programs,
and then the big surpise came: FSK31, that copied an lot better ( I have the
impression that FSK31 runs at an higer speed, so allowing more offset
perhaps and it also could be that an stronger coding scheme is used).
So I am curious what this FSK31 mode is ?
I liked the nice Spectrumdisplay and with the average in the setup FFT
turned on, it really tunes in very quickly.
The RTTY worked also good, but at the moment there is only one speed 45
baud, and on VHF we could use also 50 bauds.
I have sent an question about registering to Jim Jaffe WA2VOS, because I
found the Mix32 windows program there and liked it right away.
I am not sure this is the good way though for registering ( I also do not
know what the conditions are hi).
The webiste of WA2VOS is:
http://users.nais.com/~jaffejim
BTW: Nick UT2UZ, made an fb program under Dos called Mix, running
CW/RTTY/AMTOR-fec/Pactor 100 and 200 unproto and also packet 300/1200
unproto, and all this works with the simple 1 opamp "Hamcom" modem. ( it
also has an auto rtty bbs)
So who knows what Nick will build in this new Mix32 windows program in
future.
Hope to meet soon FSK31 stations (vhf/hf) to do some testing/comparing with
Psk31 and Coherent-bpsk...
Cheerio now,

Yep.. common problem...
In the TOR modes I use KAGold which allows you to toggle between a "Window"
and a full DOS-like screen. If I have noise one screen mode it is likely
not there in the other..
However another thing you might want to try is to play with both screen
resolution and the number of colors used (Control Panel/Display) This can
also be the source of significant monitor noise.

Subject: [psk31] MixDemo Screen?
Hello
I've just down-loaded UT2UZ's MIXDEMO PSK program. The program is
working just fine, but does not fit on my 13" monitor. I've tried dragging
edges, corners etc., but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Bob VE7OR

Hi Jim/AC4CZ and ALL
Same happened to me with respect to Mix32Demo data height/width, also
couldn't shrink them, of course I can't see the whole picture. I got
disappointed too. Any help! 73 :-)
