Hi to anyone who can help.
I have been strugling to get this PRM8020 on the 4 Mtr band 70 Meg.
I now have the FPP PRM80 Software Version 4 which will read and write to the
EEPROM and I have both the PRM80HW and PRM80SW programmes - PLUS ?
A programme called WORKDISK that formats a floppy with FPPand PRM Directories
and one EMPTY directory called JOBS ? I may not be 100% certain but have a
fealing this is where I require a file to give me the programming data for
the 4 meter frequencies I want to programme ?
I need to start at 70 Meg and go up in 12.5k steps, no repeaters just simplex
and with no CTCSS or anything apart from Scan being operative, plus Variable
squelch which I note is settable on the main EEPROM PRM80HW programe.
Can anyone give me any more info on how to get over this next hurdle please ?
It may be driver error or a case of RTBM but while the first is more than
likely the latter is not possible becouse I have No B-y Manual to read !!!
Any help or advice very much apreciated.
