Subject: Cushcraft problems and solutions!

Charles,

As much as I would like to follow in your thoughts, I stray with common
sense.
The responses I receive are apparent in negative content.
CushCraft is now the AMF of Harley motorcycles.

If CushCraft had personal pride in their products they would support
there functionality with spare parts.
The lack of personal drive that keeps a person from doing the best they can
baffles me.
Money never makes up for loss in personal pride.
As a cart in front of the horse, Money will not buy the personal pride of
a job well done.
The argument is with CushCrafts lack in talent customer
relations and availability of parts.
This is the focus I wish to make others aware of.

On the topic of antennas!
My limited understanding in design of collinear arrangements providing
10dbd gain on both VHF and UHF while mounted in a radome with .7 windload
forces me to offer my dependence on others.
My understanding of Smith charts, Grid dip meters, antenna analyzers,
and System analyzers is fair enough to understand my limitations in
manufacturing a ARX270.
There is no perfect Antenna or anything in this world.
I express myself as paying nearly $300 for a good design damaged by a
storm.
Again I do not fault in the design and antenna itself.
I just need a few SMALL replacement parts.
What I need are a few capacitors, and a few Cushcraft employees to get
off their $##$% and walk over to a parts bin and gather what I need.

Your Harley may be the perfect design for you.
A BMW motorcycle meets my needs.

Next time you need a new oil seal on your Harley maybe they will tell you
you must purchase a whole New evolution engine to fix the problem.
Hey nothing is perfect!
The history of Harley/ AMF and how the pride effected the quality and
support is something we can reflect on.
Hey! 0000000, If thats a Honda in the picture then The AMF stuff
didn't make sense did it?

YA! YA! I wear a Helmet and have been for 25 years.
My choice, after I witnessed the effects of cyclist cranium plunge into a
windshield, caused by less than perfect attention span.
I have tested the Cause and effects of helmets as I raced Enduros
in younger days.
Maybe Effects are still evident!

Ps.
I have made so many Ham antennas over the years, AU and CU trace elements
are making my hair silver.
I will be in working in Richardson mid March
   Take care of your pride,

       Jack Kovar

I have a KPC-2 that has been updated to the latest & last firmware for the
KPC-2 (Version 5.0), it has the "Smart Watch" option, which retains your
Mailbox messages after power failure / removal of power from TNC.
It is a HF/VHF TNC, has nearly the identical command set as the KPC-3
Version 5.0.

I am selling for $65.00 (shipped UPS Ground, USA only)
Thanks for reading this post!

Helle!
Does anyone know what might be coming from Kenwood - HF-rigs? All the other
makers of rigs are putting in 6m, 2m od 70cm.
What about Kenwood?
