I use packet to receive realtime weather radar images in my Skywarn spotting
vehicle, updated every 5 minutes.
I use packet to receive the latest watch and warning information from the
NWS when mobile.
I use packet to send and receive email from my vehicle (Internet mail).
I use packet as a digital paging service on, yes, my pager.
I use packet to check call signs on the QRZ server while in my vehicle.
I use packet to find directions from my present location.
I used packet to write this answer while sitting in the drive-up line at
Taco Bell on my lunch break.
That's what you can use packet for.
