The audio output of the radio needs to be plugged into the soundcard's LINE
IN jack. As for the other problem, be sure to ajust the audio to a proper
level. Not too loud, but not too soft either. Start low, and work your way
up to a good volume. If nothing helps after messing with it for awhile, then

It's just one of those nasty limericks of the "Nantucket" series, not
suitable for display on a usenet group such as this, where young people
might be expected to view it.

A ".TGZ" file is a UNIX TAR Archive that has been compressed with "gzip". To
read it, use:
gunzip -c <filename> | tar -x
and that will de-archive the files into the current directory (or as a
sub-directory).
".TGZ" is NOT Linux specific. TAR has existed under UNIX since before Linux
was created.

I am in need of a diagram for the wiring of serial cable with a 25 pin male
on one end and a 9 pin male on the other.
And I need another diagram for wiring the same set up as a nul-modem.
Anybody have this info ?
I'm trying to get rid of the adaptors by making my own cables.
thanks

Hi Folks,
We have a friend/coworker/HAM who has sailed to the Bahamas and brought a
packet station with him to communicate. He is having trouble getting it up
and running, and I wondered if anyone could give me some node info and other
assistance down there. He is also equipped with 2 & 10 meters. Thanks in
advance.
