Well last night about 9 I deconstructed my J-beam back to a J-pole and heard
some racket on 145.01, 145.05 and 145.09. Still haven't got a successful
connect. Also, the Kam 3 Plus seems to have a nice little birdie on 144.99
and there is some sort of birdie that I haven't isolated on 145.65.

What's even more fun is what happens when SPAMMERS are reported to their
ISP's.
Harassing participants of a usenet ng with off-topic posts, then doing so
again and again despite repeated requests to cease the activity will lose
you your Internet account in a hurry, and make it difficult to obtain
another one.
That pretty well puts an end to the controversy, doesn't it?
Nobody is FORCED to respect the usenet rules... They just find themselves
out of the loop if they make an issue of not doing so.

So, you're saying that he should go to a RELATED newsgroup? IF the topic is
CB-packet, I agree that CB-radio (in general) is related, but why isn't
ham_radio-packet also related (via the packet theme)?
What it really comes down to, Mr. CB, is that you simply hate CB radio, and
when you can't get your way, you resort to name calling (cf. calling me
"moron"
above). So much for amateur radio GOODWILL (which is actually mandated in the
rules - 47 CFR 97.1(e), especially at an international level).
