Any one got any advice or software/links for a
young (14yr old) male as I would like to set up a packet radio
listening station using only my PC and Soundcard.
Thanks in advance

I haven't really tried getting this up and running myself
yet on the air (I will, when I get my other radio back for
repair), but the package looks pretty slick from what I've
seen so far. I believe the program is free for ax25
only -- and you only need to register for tcp/ip, which
you won't need if you're just monitoring.

Looking for software that will monitor/decode packet signals on a
computer using the computer sound card. I'm interested in starting
with packet, and other digital modes, but would like the ability to
monitor for a while first getting a feel for digital operations before
investing the money on equipment. Already have the audio from a 2M rig
to the computer sound card, any software out there for decoding it?

Subject: UIView - What is it?
Hi.
I have looked on the net for UIView information, but to no avail.
Can anyone point me in the direction of UIView information or URL
links?
o What is it?
o Is there Windows 95/98 or DOS software for it?
o Is it related to APRS ?
Thanks,
Martin 2E1FTX.
