I use the excellent IRC to convers gateway software written by Jens David,
dg1kjd. This is a Perl script that translates between a convers server and
an IRC server. It means that local uses can access the world wide convers
network using any of the IRC clients they fancy. I've used mIRC, KvIrc,
cIRCus, Ksirc and all work very well :-))

Its got a firmware 2nd serial port which will connect to a gps unit (or
whatever) by using unused pins on the one hardware serial port. So u end up
with a y cable on the serial port.

I'm looking either to purchase the PAKRATT2 for DOS, or to know of
a shareware program which will work as well with an AEA PK-232 TNC
(older model). Must be able to handle multiple modes (RTTY, Packet,
AMTOR, etc.).
