I would like to start running hf packet mobile. I have an Icom 706. I would
like to use an older laptop. Other than that, do I have to have a TNC? I saw
the sound card posting for someone else but am not sure if it will work for
me. Thanks,
Brett

Howdy! I'm "Mike not Mic"!
I want to trade off my kpc 3 and kpc 2 for a old 2m radio...The radio can
even look bad...but, I just want it to work good. No crystal rigs either.
Please contact me via e-mail!

Subject: wireless data transceiver schmatics needed
Looking for some schematics.
I've looked everywhere for something along the
lines of what I want, and found that cordless
telephones are the closest thing. Problem is I could
pay $300US for a Panasonic or IBM cordless telephone
that handles data transmission, but i dont want to pay
that when i could probably construct it myself. With the
help of some schematics.
I need to use the telephone line, but have a wireless
connection from the telephone jack to the modem, and
vise versa.
If anyone has anything along these lines, or know of
a good source, please help!
Thanks
