Hi !
I recently bought an IC-706 and I'd like to connect my
AEA DSP-2232 to it...
The problem is that the Automatic Tuner AT-180 is allready attached to the
transceiver, so I can't use the Accessory Socket to connect the TNC !!!
I thought of using the second mic connector to hookup the TNC,
but the Icom Instruction Manual say that one CANNOT attach 2 microphones at
the same time.
If you have any idea of WHAT I can do to have it working, please
be kind enough to let me know by E-Mail...

I assume you are talking about Ham Radio, the subject of this newsgroup...
If so, don't bother. After tying up a lot of your cash and time, you will
have a link to the Internet, but you will be against the law to do much of
anything with it. - You could "talk" to a few other hams on a text-based
conference bridge, and access a number of "*NOS" BBS's , all of which
containing exactly the same messages and that's about it, for all practical
purposes. No Web-browsing, no access to anything containing advertisements
(most of the Internet) and no commercial activity.
There are a number of non-Ham setups for doing this and from what I
understand, they work well. - Just don't waste your time trying to do it on
the Ham freqs.

Subject: MFJ 1278 software info needed
Hi,
I am looking for any suggestions on software to use with my 1278. I had
downloaded a program written specific to the 1278 a while back but can not
recall what it was called. The program does not need to be anything fancy,
just something that will be an improvment over a standard terminal
interface.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
