Does anyone know where I can find mic connectors for the Radio Shack
HTX212 2 meter radio? Tandy claims that it doesn't carry them(?). I
have a PK88 that I want to connect to my HTX212 - the maker of the PK88
tells me that it doesn't have them, just the cable blanks. If I can
find the mic connector I can make my own. Thanks!

Looked in the mirror lately?

Looks like the hobby missed a good bet there.
If you will bother to READ what I said, you will discover that I suggested
the guy get out and socialize a bit. The nature of his question made it
clear that he had little or no contact with other hams. That - in the
largest metro area in the USA.
I was right to say what I did. Anybody living within a city full of hams who
has to go to Usenet to ask about local freqs is just a little TOO isolated
to be healthy. I didn't accuse the guy of being some kind of "misfit"... HE
did. I gave him the very best advice he could possibly have gotten.
You are quite welcome, of course, to suggest anything different which may
occur to you, or even to say the same thing in a different way. Go for it.

Thanks, Bagpuss.
It worked very well - a facility I was unaware of...
How can I find other Telnet addresses?
