Hello Dennis;
Make a loop-back cable by connecting the TX line to the RX line on a spare
mic plug and you can test the PK-88 by connecting to your self and seeing both
ends of the connection.
I would not assume that the premade cables are wired correctly. If they are
from one of the larger suppliers of premade cables they depend upon you to do
the quality control.
