Hi!

Every time I start WinFBB (v7.00g23) on my Pentium PC I get the
following error message:

WFBB caused a general protection fault

No relay required:

          ------/\/\/\--- Centre of mic connector
         /
--/\/\--|  Common NPN transistor
         \
          v
          |
        Ground

Just apply enough voltage to the base resistor to switch on the transistor
(saturation), which will ground the base of the collector resistor,
which keys the transmitter.

outside shell or ground and the center.  A Two wire jack.   I don't
recall the exect value of resistor, but start with about 1000 ohms
