Subject: FT-8100R & KPC-3+
Has anyone hooked up Yaesu's FT-8100R to the Kantronics KPC-3+ using
Yaesu's CT-39 packet interface cable? The CT-39 pin outs are
1. Tx audio
2. Data gnd
3. PTT
4. Rx 9600
5. Rx 1200
6. Squelch
Using a male DP-9, the instructions seem to order the following
connections:
CT-39 DB-9
1 1
2 9
3 3
4
5 5
6
Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Subject: Keying the Yaesu FT470 Handheld
I know I have asked a similar question before, but I don't seem to get the
answers that I need (It is probably me asking the question wrongly. - Thanks
to all that have answered my previous queries)
What I need to know is how to key the FT470, without using the PTT button on
the rig. Forget that I need to use it for packet, I just need to know what
sort of connection I need across the Ear and Mic sockets to key the PTT.
What would also be helpful is if someone knew the complete pinouts of the
Ear and Mic sockets on top of the rig.
Thanks for any help in advance

Hello John:
COMP RTTY II is written by KC2HO, It runs well with the DSP-599zx. It is a DOS
program. If you want a WIN95/98/NT RTTY program try DSP-RTTY from Timewave.
See http://www.timewave.com for details.
