AEA went into bankruptcy and the product line was taken over by two companies.
Tempo Research took the antenna line and test equipment. Timewave Technology
took over the TNC and software line. You can check the current AEA/Timewave
line at http://www.timewave.com

Subject: A UHF Radio for 9k6
Hello all.
I am on the brink of moving from the wonderful world of 1200 baud packet into
the "fast" lane with 9k6 packet. Now, I need a radio for this. I plan on using
70 cms band and only require a watt maximum. So, any ideas on a good ex-pmr
set
that i should keep my eyes open for that will do this job admirably? Any
suggestions of equipment or where I can get some from will be much
appreciated.
Mail me personally at NToombes@aol.com

Hi
How do you key the FT 470 handheld? Also how do you wire it for packet to a
baycom modem?

Thanks, I guess I'll either have to change the call and see what happens, or
try another packet program. <g> I am leaning towards the latter because there
is so much it doesn't do. For one, I would like buttons to insert the most
used commands and toggles like monitor on and off, and I need a scrolling
window that lets me see what has scrolled by on the screen. Any
recommendations? Thanks

For WIN 3.1 users PC PakRATT for Windows rev 2.1 is available at any dealer.
For WIN 95/98/NT users download PK TERM '99 from http://www.timewave.com
Either program is $79.95
