I have a Sharp Mobilon and it works great with my TH-D7a. I am using a
homemade cable that is attached to the Mobilon cable. The mobilon cable
does have a torroid coil nearest the HPC.
Hope this helps,
Walter

Steve,
I think that a single large piece of ferrite would do the trick with
only one pass through it. Look at how the power supply and other cables
from many laptop computers have those characteristic parasitic lumps on
them. I think that's what you need.

My 200LX (I love this little machine) has no problems with high levels of
RFI.

In addition to the Compaq I have an HP 660LX, and it exhibits the same RFI
problem.
