I have no problem to trlnet to gw.ve1smu.ampr.org from my QTH, I do not

compiling the result we all get we can get to a conclusion.

Charles is absolutely correct and I would take his advice if I were you.
Charles may not have made clear, however, that you can send E-mail
messages to Internet addresses all you want without a problem. The
problem is with messages that orignate at non-ampr.org addresses.

Michel Debury wrote on a related subject:

This discussion relates to anything that comes from non-ampr.org
addresses, not just E-mail. Doesn't matter if it is smtp, ftp, telnet,
etc. If it originates from a non-ampr.org address and goes out over the
air, the gateway sysop's license is at risk. If a gateway is set up
correctly, it will not be allowed, even if someone tried. Unfortunately,
many gateways are not set up with proper security and some of this stuff
slips through.

The solution to your problem is to fix your antenna ;)

Subject: Packet Radio Problem!

I have a 3 wire RS-232 connection to the TNC, a PG-5A data cable from the
TINY-2 MK-2 (TNC) to the Kenwood TM-733A radio and I'm using HyperTerminal
that comes with Windows Operating Systems. When i connect them together and
power up the system, the DCD LED comes on. I know you'll say that the
wiring may be a problem and it may but when I send the CAL and the the KD
commands, the radio is keyed up which is what supposed to happen. This is
heard on the other radio. So I know that its transmitting! When I try to
connect using the CONNECT command it seems as though everything hangs.
After typing in that command a second time the STA LED (status) becomes
