Hello
Does anyone have any experience with interfacing Agw Packet Engine with
Winpack 6.4? I read that it could be done but could not find any
instructions.

TH-D7e serial link is not a complete RS232 but only a 3 wires link ; no
RTS/CTS control. I can only use Xon/Xoff for handshaking .
Can we transfer binaries files with yapp and xon/xoff controls ? Indeed that
is the question !

Ok. Try turning all the handshaking off, and using a decent pC. I would
imagine that any decent PC now is well capable of keeping up with 1200 baud
withut any handshaking, especially with a decent buffer in the UART - the
serial chip on board.

I wouldn't have thought 9600 would be a problem either.

Hi,

Does anybody knows if the new Kenwood handy which
incorporates packet & APRS functionality inside it has
any undocummented way to make the TNC part work in
KISS?

Thanks, Pedro (LU7DID)

Do you use the soundcard module of it, or just for the TNCs? What terminal
program do you use?

Does anyone know how to interface it with Winpack 6.4 because I downloaded
it and winpack, but there are no instructions on how to do this, although it
can be done.
