Subject: BPQ and baycom ?
Hello,
I need some help, I want to run a BPQ node with MBU, but I can't get it
working.
I use a baycom modem.
At first Ioad the bpqcfg, and the the bpqcode, he is initialising port 1 and
then I get: No driver installed.
What am I doing wrong?
This is what my port looks like
PORT
ID= TEST PORT
TYPE=external
PROTOCOL=KISS
IOADDR=3E8
INTLEVEL=4
SPEED=1200
CHANNEL=A
QUALITY=10
MAXFRAME=2
TXDELAY=500
SLOTTIME=100
PERSIST=64
FULLDUP=0
FRACK=7000
RESPTIME=2000
RETRIES=10
PACLEN=120
ENDPORT
I tried to change the protocol in all different modes there are, but it is
not working.
It is probably a very simple problem, but I don't know how to fix it.
Thanks,
Ron

Subject: Fbb700g and Linux (RedHat)
Hello, i've got a question about how to install Fbb 700g at a linux RedHat
(5.2) OS. Both are new to me. Fbb i have worked with at a Dos platform for a
year ago (5.15).
I managed to unpack the program in the /usr/local/fbb directory and i runned
(is that a verb??) xfbb.sh (using x-windows)
But then the program is complaining about some path (sorry i'm original Dos
user)
Would somebody be so kind to send me his (only the necesary ones) xfbb.sh,
port.sys, and the other necesary files to get the program running? ( i
will edit the necesary stuff, don't worry!!)
Oh i'm using a tnc in kiss mode... (host also available, WA8DED).
Thanks in advance it would be a great help for me!

Yes, WinPac works fine - I've posted on this somewhere else here.
The radio is just fine.
The only prob you'll have is that the serial link won't permit you to use
RTS/CTS or DCD lines.
