I'm looking for a HF linear "fixer upper" or partially-finished
project. Something on the order of 200-300 watts out, coverage on at
least 80, 40 and 20. Prefer homebrew over commercial, but a vintage
amp (such as Heath or Johnson) would also work for me.

Not interested in sweep-tube amps, amps named after birds ("Eagle",
"Falcon", "Raptor", and so on) or amps using tubes that I'd have to
sell my car to replace. Amps using tubes such as 813, 811A, 4-125
would be great -- you get the picture.

Maybe you acquired parts for a homebrew amp but then found a
good deal on a commercial one or for some other reason abandoned the
homebrew project.

Or perhaps you built an amp but never got it going or lost interest in
completing it for some reason.

Or your Heath amp smoked during the 1986 SS contest and you never got
around to fixing it, any you're tired of stubbing your toe on it every
time you go into your shack.

Or your estranged wife emptied her .38 S&W into your beloved Drake amp
while you were at a Field Day outing. (hmmm, I'd better pass on that
one: *too much* of a project!).

Anyway, send me mail and let me know what you have.

I have some limited trading stock (mostly boatanchor receivers -- tell
me what you're looking for) or cash.

73,
Jeff
