Actually, it's the original poster who is the local Canaries resident
-- in La Palma, I believe. There are several good links in this thread
to close-to-real-time seismograms of any tremors that might occur in
the area. You could also check out something like the USGS Earthquake
Notification Service at https://sslearthquake.usgs.gov/ens/?page=3Dhelp
if you're interested in email notifications.
