New Packet Generation v1.03 will be released on Wednesday, March 18th!!
So what's new about this version?
- We killed some bugs ofcourse!! Thank you for all the bug reports.
- New printer routines, NPG won't crash if you try to print and
you don't have a printer or the printer is offline.
Supports LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, and file-redirecting.
- Remote Sysop.
- New Buffer routines! You'll have more conventional memory free!
And every buffer can be up to 20000 lines!! That's 19250 lines
more than NPG 1.02!
- 4 Run-Application Examples included, Pascal + C/C++!! Now with
a NPG-unit for Turbo Pascal!!! *source ofcourse included*
- SP-run program compatibility! Run your old
SP-programs with NPG! No need to stick to SP! Or hours of
work to get the program running under NPG!
- BBS-prompt detection
- English, Dutch and German documentation and config files included!
- New macro-commands
- Select BBS-es you want to catch unproto listings from.
- With both TFPCX and BPQ in memory you can choose a driver
you want to use! (Not both at the same time, maybe in 2.0)
- Multiport beacons, your beacon will be send to multiple ports
(if you have them)
- Expanded save-function, now includes screenbuffer saving, and text-
area-saving.
- //COLOR function, to enable colors on remote
- //PAR function, check out TFPCX-parameters of the other station
- Line-Quoter has been expanded, moving areas to the editor and more..
- Incredible performance optimization: NPG 1.03 runs 3 times faster
under TFPCX than NPG 1.02!!!
- Automatic 7+ decoding, no need to decode them yourself.

- Sorry, no TNC support yet, we can't get it working at a reasonable
speed. We hope to fix this and have TNC support in version 2.0

Don't waste your precious time with installing software which can't be
installed or is difficult to install or paying extra for Uncle Billy's $20
mil. dollar home, because you have to run that piece of packet Software
under WIN95!. Why put a OLD extra I/O card in your MODERN P233 Pc to run a
Piece of simple software. You don't have to install BPQ with the programms
mention above , but you MAY install BPQ if YOU want and NOT because the
programmer asks you to do otherwise it won't work. Ofcourse you can run the
above programms under WIN95 in a nice DOS-box.Why register?.
Do it Simple, Fast and Free with the above mentioned programms.
