Hello Jack and others,

Alas since a local digi was dismantled by a club we haven't had any TCP/IP
activity here for some years, so I'm quite unfamiliar with the "nuts and bolts"
of the IH command.

Here is an extract from my JNOS autoexec.nos file which I assume would be
similar to TNOS.
# ======== Hardware interfaces ========
# The syntax is:
# attach <hw type> <I/O address> <vector> <mode> <label> <bufsize>
# <mtu> [<speed>]
#
# KISS: 2400 baud on COM2 to other computer
attach asy 0x2f8 3 ax25 rs232 2048 256 2400
#
# BayCom modem driver: attach packet <intvec> <iface> <txqlen> <mtu>
attach packet 0x60 2m 5 256
#
# Ethernet
# attach packet 0x61 enet 5 512
The name (label) of the KISS port is "rs232", that of the BayCom modem port is
"2m", and that of the Ethernet port (untested) is "enet".
I hope that helps.
