RAFARS AREA REPRESENTATIVES REQUIRED.
RAFARS Area Reps are urgently required in the following areas:
Buckinghamshire, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Dorset, Northamptonshire
Somerset and Powys. Your annual sub to RAFARS is remitted and expenses are
reimbursed. Contact Roy G0TBY or HQRAFARS today.

RAFARS TECHNICAL MANAGER SUPPORT.
A volunteer, preferably one who lives within easy travelling distance of
RAF Cosford, West Midlands (Junct.3 M54), is required to assist and support
Bob, G4DDM,the RAFARS Technical Manager. Volunteers should contact G4DDM 
direct.(Address as per QRZ or E-mail <tech-manager@rafars.org>

Dave G8GKQ our Chairman is at present on detachment overseas but can be 
contacted on E-mail through <chairman@rafars.org> if required.

RAFARS JOURNAL (QRV) AND CALLBOOK (QRZ).
The 2003 Spring mailing will be posted out during the first week in March.
Mike G7JPN, RAFARS Administrator/Gen Sec.thanks the packing team of:
Stan G0BYA, Derek G0EYX, Ken M0CFT, Mike G3JKX and Derek G8RJO for their
magnificent effort and quick response to his request "Let's get packing!".
Mike G7JPN would like to hear from other members who can offer a few hours
twice a year to pack QRV. Travel expenses are paid and there is an endless
supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and "bon hommie".

TRACTOR-FED LABELS
Every year RAFARS uses about 4000 address labels on its dot-matrix printer.
The labels are 89x36mm, eight down on a page and can be one or two across.
If you have, or know of anyone or an organisation that has these labels but
does not use them any more and is willing to donate them to RAFARS, then
please contact Mike G7JPN.at RAFARS HQ.

GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD NORFOLK.
GB2RAF will be QRV 8 March SSB or CW around RAFARS Freq.

NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK AVIATION MUSEUM.
The Aviation Museum is trying to breathe life and interest into radio and 
electronic warfare displays and would like RAFARS Members in the Norfolk/
Suffolk area to assist in this endeavour. Assistance can be as a member of
the staff or can you organise a RAFARS display stand or a Special Event
Station a few times a year. If you can help, contact Ray on 01603 259717
for full details and information.
Remember also that Roy G0TBY, RAFARS Marketing Manager can provide banners,
other display material and RAFARS commodities. 
The Museum, tel 01986 896644, consists of RAF Bomber Museum, 446th Bomb
Group USAAF, Royal Observer Corps, RAF Air Sea Rescue and Coastal Command
with over 25 Historic Aircraft.
It opens to the public Nov. to Mar. 1000-1500 on Tue/Wed/Sun; and Apr. to 
Oct. 1000-1600 from Sun to Thur. It is closed from 15 Dec. to 15 Jan.
The location is off the B1062 1 mile west of Bungay, Suffolk.
Admission and parking is Free. A Shop and Refreshments are available.

AIR TRAINING CORPS RADIO.
497 Sqn ATC Daventry will be available for the RAE on Monday 19 May
if anyone wishes to sit this exam, contact Dave Pink RAFARS 4410
on 01327 311113 or e mail <david.pink@daventryraynet.org.uk> before
March 7th. This exam is also open to members of the RAF and RAFARS.

The 2nd Pre Reunion Dinner for all ex Compton Basset Boys has been arranged

All Shuttles have been grounded until further notice.
The International Space Station will be served by Soyuz the Russian Space
Craft until NASA gives clearance for Shuttle Flights to recommence.
