SHORT DE-BRIEF GB0RAF RAF COLISHALL CLOSES DOWN 16/17 SEP 2006.
It would take too many pages to give a report in this NL but a full report
and photos will be in the next QRV Issue. All went to plan and the Station
Closed Down at 17/1750Z with
"This is RAF Coltishall Closing Down with EGYC going Silent Key,
God bless RAF Coltishall we will miss you. Out..."
We made 300 contacts in the two days on 80/40m SSB. Roger G3ZDW did try
the key but no one around but with pile-ups on SSB we had to oblige.
A big thank you to Bob G0DAM for his support over the three days also to
G3ZDW Roger, M0DZB Keith, G0CLR Rex, G0IYD Pat, 2E1EIV Alec, for operating
the station and assistance from M0FHM Don.
Special QSL Cards will be going out within the next three weeks.
