BLACKPOOL RADIO RALLY
RAFARS Stand has been booked for the annual Blackpool Radio Rally which
will be held on Sunday 20th March 2005 at the Norbreck Castle Hotel.
Volunteers are required to help out in running the stand.
So please contact Roy 2E1RAF QTHr or e mail him with your support.
RAFARS 1665 GW4RVA
It has been reported to News Desk that RAFARS Number 1665 is being used by
a station in the Eastbourne Area. If anyone should have a QSO with RAFARS
1665 please confirm it is GW4RVA in Carmarthen.
RAFARS QRV EDITOR REQUIRES.

GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
GB2RAF will be QRV 8 Jan. The Station is operational every second Saturday
of the month from 1000-1500 local time.
Due to G4PSH going sick on the Saturday at 0900, GB2RAF was not on the air
on Sat Dec 11th.
All RAFARS/RNARS/R.SIGS who would like to operate or visit the station are
welcome. Phone Terry, G4PSH, on 01692 582064 if you wish to operate.

The Orkney Heritage Society Custodians at Kirkwall are trying to trace ex
WRNS and WAAF who served at ACOS during WW2.If any ladies, or you know of
ladies, who served in the RAF at Lyness on Hoy between 1939 & 1945, please
