RAFARS NET NEWS.
A few changes to net controllers have arisen over the past few weeks.
G4PFR Jim 1710 is joining the team running the daily 80m SSB net and can
also be heard assisting with the weekly 40m SSB net. Welcome aboard Jim.
Due to a QTH move, G4IYC has had to hand over the reigns of the Tuesday
80m CW net to G3JKY and G3ICH. Hope you're back on the air soon Brian.
Any net information should be forwarded to G0NWY Duncan(QTHr).

The Autumn QRV will be arriving any day now on your doorstep . Roy, the
editor would like some feedback as to how the magazine is received -
perceived by the readers under his editorship. Did you enjoy the read?,

RAFARS ANNUAL DINNER AND AGM 2004
The Annual Dinner will be held at the Aviator Hotel, Sywell, Northants
on Friday, 8th October and the AGM on Saturday 9th October 2004.

RSGB SSB FIELD DAY 4/5 SEPTEMBER 2004
The RAFARS team, G8FC, will operate from the Metheringham Visitors Centre.
The site is approx 10 miles SE of Lincoln, 8 miles NE of RAFC Cranwell and
the O/S is TF1014 5961.
Dave G3SET has kindly offered the use of his caravan for the Station and
you will have the use of Visitors Centre Toilet for washing and other
facilities plus the chance to look round the 106 Sqn memorabilia.
This is a super site and RAFARS needs your support - the more operators
the better. Please contact Roger G3ZDW RAFARS Contest Manager or your News
Desk today so that the Shift Rota can be arranged. Talk-in is 144.725.
GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
GB2RAF will be QRV 14 Aug on SSB or CW around RAFARS Freq.
The Station is operational on the second Saturday of every month from 1000
-1500 local time.
All RAFARS/RNARS/R.Sigs who would like to operate or visit the station are
