7 AND 8 AUGUST 2004 AURORA WINDERMERE STEAMBOAT MUSEUM.
GB2WSM and RAFARS SES GB0RAF will be operational representing Mobile Radio
in the North West.
The BBC, Cumbria Constabulary, microlight aircraft and all types of model
boat will be taking part. The Air Training Corps will also be there
in attendance. The most important part will be the number of Radio /M &
/P who turn up over the weekend. So as well as supporting RAFARS a good
time can be had by all.
Roy has put a lot of planning into this, so please support him.

The Annual Dinner will be held at the Aviator Hotel, Sywell, Northants
on Friday, 8th October and the AGM on Saturday 9th October 2004.

If no RAFARS Stand then meet at the RSGB Stand.
NFD CW AT RAF METHERINGHAM 5/6 JUNE 2004.
This event went off very well and our score is very similar to last year.
Total points 2261 Number of QSOs 533 to be verified and published by the
RSGB. Roger can see us using the site again in the future as it worked out
so well. Thanks go out to the RAFARS team for taking part - Well done!
GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
GB2RAF will be QRV 10 July on SSB or CW around RAFARS Freq.
The Station is operational on the second Saturday of every month from 1000
-1500 local time. In June we made 31 contacts including GB60DD on the key.
Radio conditions Poor.
All RAFARS/RNARS/R.Sigs who would like to operate or visit the station are
welcome. Phone Terry, G4PSH, on 01692 582064 if you wish to operate.
