RAFARS ANNUAL DINNER AND AGM 2004
The Annual Dinner will be held at the Aviator Hotel, Sywell, Northants
on Friday, 8th October and the AGM on Saturday 9th October 2004.

GBØRAF - OPERATORS REQUIRED 11 - 13 JUNE
At present we are short of members to operate GB0RAF.at Elvaston Castle
from 11 - 13 June. The station may be limited to QRP on Friday due to no
AC power till late. This may prevent the usual Friday national net session
but the one for Saturday is still planned. Please contact G0DAM or G0TBY
if you will be available. Contact details in QRZ.

GB8CC AT CONISBOROUGH CASTLE, NEAR DONCASTER 18 - 20 JUNE 2004
From the 18 - 20 June SEAREG, a RAFARS affiliate group, have a publicly
funded event at Conisborough Castle, near Doncaster. The 19 and 20th are
public days and actually held inside the Castle. There will be several
Amateur stalls, RAFARS and local Clubs and will be represented.
Access charges will be waived so a great chance for the family to view the
Castle while you check out the SES.
CALLING ALL "ERKS" (1939 TO 1963)
Ex RAF personnel (Wartime Conscripts, National Service or Regulars) who
served between 1939 & 1963 are invited to a reunion at the RAF Museum,
Cosford on Sunday, 27 June 2004. A parade and marchpast with a band and
under the tender care of 1950s Drill Instructors will go ahead at 1130hrs.
Bring the family for a day of nostalgia. Museum entry and parking is free.

GB2RAF AIR DEFENCE RADAR MUSEUM RAF NEATISHEAD RAFARS PERMANENT S.E.S.
GB2RAF will be QRV 12 June on SSB or CW around RAFARS Freq but will not be
QRV for Museums on the Air 19/20 June.
The Station is operational on the second Saturday of every month from 1000
-1500 local time. The partial closure of RAF Neatishead in the near future
will not effect the Museum and GB2RAF will remain operational.
All RAFARS/RNARS/R.Sigs who would like to operate or visit the station are
welcome. Phone Terry, G4PSH, on 01692 582064 if you wish to operate.
(Operators please bring your Amateur Licence and I/D).
