I have a lovely next door neighbour who is in her mid 80s.

Her son is trying to create not only a Family Tree but as many details as
possible about the individuals in that Tree.

He has come to me asking for help regarding his Uncle whose details are as
follows:-

Sergeant Albert Hawley 814216 Flight Engineer.

76 Sqdn. Royal Air Force (Aux. Air Force)

        Died age 28 on 1st. May 1943

76 Sqdn. flew Halifax Aircraft at this time according to one of my books.

His parents lived in Worksop Notts.

I have details of the location of his grave in The Reichswald Forest
War Cemetery, which is close to the Dutch border near Kleve (Cleves).

On my next trip to Germany I will be obtaining video of the Cemetery and
Photos. of Albert's grave.

Any help that you can send to me will be thankfully received.

Does 76 Sqdn. still exist and where is it located?

Does a 76 Sqdn. Association exist and if so how can I contact them.

Any other information would be very welcome.

Thanks for all help received.
